Aalborg Karneval 2004A poster made for the Karneval i Aalborg (Carnival in Aalborg) poster competition in 2004The objective was to create a poster, that matched the theme 'Atlantis' I did this by drawing the greek sea god Poseidon, and emphasizing the carnival theme by adding colored silhouettes of dancing jousters in his beard. Notice that the Atlantis logo on Poseidon's trident, is also the key feature on the front of his crown. The poster came in on a 4th place (approximately 60 designers entered the competition), and was put on display for a year on several places in Northern Jutland, in 2004. |
